If anyone is looking for a Deacon, I've posted mine on Craigslist. Posted it here in July, then my son asked if he could have it. He played it for a while but now it sits in its case behind the couch.

Here's the link

Deacon on CL

Good luck with the sale.

If it was a 12 string I'd buy it for the case.

Copy the cl web address URL.
Go to full reply form, click on URL and paste the cl address there.

Same principle for pics.

There is a more detailed thread here about posting pics

That Deacon looks dark..is there a different pickguard and finish for the 12 string?

Dave its actually textured black like a Breadwinner.

Some on here suggested when I bought it that it had been refinished but I'm sure it is original.

That tortoise shell pg was available on BWs

The pups are different to standard but look to be original fitment and sound fantastic.

I think it may have been a custom order or a proto.

It's nice, I like the black finish. It's like the Breadwinner I received on my 15th birthday. Two years later, I traded the BW for that ugly piece of firewood I have on craigslist. I hate that dumb old Deacon...sniff, sniff.
