Joined: November 2006 Posts: 3969 | fridave, I have an FRG Takamine. The only thing I could find on it that might have warranted QC failure and the "USED" stamp on the back of the headstock is some barely visible finish overspray on the back near the neck. That's not to say that every FRG is almost perfect. You have to either see it for yourself, or take a chance, or buy one of those FRG '07 Collectors from Al.

If you got a burn for an Adamas either get the '08 Collectors or keep your eyes open for a used one with a textured top. If not, like g8r said, grab the 07 collectors from Al and don't look back!

The majority(99.9%) of the guitars have never left the factory but they are still factory reconditioned guitars. Little lower warrentee but nothing to be afraid of. G8R, Oui, c'est vrai, tres mauvais!

Think about it, 1.5 years after the introduction of the 07C, and in a seriously depressed economy all of a sudden they come up with a stash of FRG's ??? Yeah, right ... Just my opinion. Dave
