Yeah I've been watching this. Too bad it's an aluminum fretboard. They originally came in chipboard cases.

That paint is pretty thick. With that much wear on the fretboard, I suspect the frets are pretty worn, too. Once they're gone, it's basically toast. That's why I don't play my Matrix much.

When that was a fresh listing, I contacted the seller about shipping charges and mentioned Fed Ex.

He responded that shipping should be about $45.
So if you really want it, contact the seller.
That shipping will scare everyone else away and you could get it for cheap.

Just a Thought...
