Yeah, the silk and steels were a failed experiment. If it wasn't a slothead 12 string, I would have replaced them immediately...

However, it's a 12 string slothead. Nuff said.

Notice the pro stringing job though?

I actually like silk-n-steels on a 12-string. But I also like bronze on a 12-string. My 1755 is strung one way, and my CL is strung the other.

This is why people need to own more than one 12-string.

That was my thought in putting them on, but I didn't like it at all. I expect a 12 string to ring like a bell, but they took all the brassy right out.

To each their own. It's all just personal taste.
