Offered to OFC members for $425 + split shipping CONUS; will accept return (buyer pays return shipping) if dissatisfied.

I replaced the original pre-amp and saddle/piezo assembly with a brand-new stacked knob FET-3.

Finish-only crack, bridge to binding (see pictures), a couple of minor finish dings (indentations, not through) here and there, as you might expect from a 1981-vintage. A small bit of rash on the paddle but no cracks. Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is spot on. Volume and tone are incredible, as for all of these 12-fretters

Non-original (black) newer Ovation 8158 case.

No offers, price is firm, no trades. I'm not desperate to sell, just have more guitars than I can play & need to thin the herd. If no one here wants it, it'll go in its case until the economy gets better.

Will accept PayPal, but @ 3% over price listed above to cover PayPal fees. Postal money order or cashiers check also accepted. Payment plan available.

I am really surprised, and relieved, that I didn't come home with that one.

No Bob, you know how I get along with 12 strings. They stay a shorter time that the 6ers do.

So half the string count means twice as long?
Do the 12 strings even make it out of the box? ;)

Congrats, "Other Jim" ;) . I've never had the pleasure of playing a 1615,but, most hear say it one of the best made. Enjoy!

The pacemakers have to be the best bang for the buck in a 12 string. I've had 3 of them, and if I did play a 12 more often, one of them would have stayed (along with the 1758)

The guitar just arrived today. I was home and meet the UPS guy in the driveway. He popped open the back door and my heart dropped as I saw a big gash in the box. He said "don't worry I noted the hole in the box. A quick look showed no marks on the case as it was well packed. Good news, no problems. Plays great and I am very happy. Came with free strings and a sticker....
Thanks Serge, great deal.
Jim
