violin shaped beatle bass. My supplier says these are made in the same factory that makes the Hofner icon series. I am not sure if that is true but I was very impressed with this copy and the build quality. nice playing bass and has that Beatles vibe

$199.99 plus shipping

Hi Al, I think Paul's was a semi-hollowbody short-scale. Is this one too?

Hi, just out of interest, Paul McCartney's Hofner 500/1 was 3/4 scale length.

Yep, and if you can trust the internet then this Stadium is a 30" scale too. Oh, and you can not beat that price, anywhere.

I held this Live & InPerson.

The finished quality is very, very good. And it IS a short scale. It's hard to believe that it's going for the short side of 200.
