i had inquired previously about the neck. if i remember correctly, al said it is 1 11/16". i was hoping for 1 3/4".

Thanks Randy, that settles the GAS in my tummy. I think I'd prefer a real 1680 anyway, that one is too similar to the 08C.

I don't think it looks anything like the '08C (other than black/cutaway).

and it IS A PROTOTYPE. Most of the time those sound better than the production model....REMEMBER THE "Q".

What I meant was that they are both 14 fret to the body, cutaways with a hand laid contour bowl. If I'm going to justify something different to SWMBO it has to be more than "looks different". I would need something to point to.
