This one is a 2001 (Pre-Fender buyout) Tacoma Papoose A-scale guitar. The guitar tunes just like a guitar capo'ed on the 5th fret, and has a very unique sound with a ton of higher harmonics, somewhere between a guitar and a mandolin.

Features solid Western Cedar top, Mahogany back, sides & neck, Rosewood bridge & fingerboard. The frets are great, neck is straight, and it plays beautiful. The body has a few little dings and impressions around, and overall is probably a 9/10 for condition.

Comes with a fitted gig bag, leather strap, and a nice Adamas 2.0mm graphite pick that sounds great flat-picked on this one. ;)

Asking $300 shipped & Paypal'ed in the US. Will ship international.

I have the solid body version of it, stock, and I love it.

Yeah, go figure, it stalled when I was posting and it obviously posted it twice. Now if I could only get paid twice for the same guitar...

Seriously though folks, this is an awesome travel guitar and great for having something unusual to add in the mix...or record with.

Dweezer,
Put a capo on the 5th fret of a standard neck O and it is about the same width and such as the Papoose is at "0".

These are nice for Travis picking but they sing best when strummed like a Mandolin.

For this price you need to try it!

Dweez, sent you a PM.

Picking works, though Woody's right and that mando sound is pretty stinking cool. I've plucked mine a bit...it's got a surprisingly big voice for such a little guy.

I just play fingerstyle. I've been looking for a small guitar for the beach, holidays etc. No room in car for the herd!

Whats the action like up the neck?

Actually, it's pretty tight. The action and intonation is very good the whole length, and the frets are great.
