I was really hunkerin' for a natural Dimeola a year or two ago, and here it is! A few hours ago I made a call that resulted in a commitment that will exhaust my guitar fund for a while. These won't last. Stuart, I can only imagine the kind of "project" that would force the liquidation of these beauties.

Is there something about these guitars that make them less than desirable, or the first one lets go? I have played one of these, and LOVED it, butt as a newbie, I am a bit worried about spending so much money. What should I watch out for?

I have my habit under control and down to 16 Ovations and Adamii. :-) Even better now am playing every week in Praise band, playing makes me very very happy. Willa, CL's are beautiful....I have to say they have all had tremendous variety in tone. The 1719-30th was very pretty but I think the top was still a little constrained. Compared to the 1619 which was very deep and opened up nicely. I really liked my two ADII's and if I was to go for anothe CL sx sting I would go with the ADII in natural. The 1658 that you see (slot top 12 string was a beautiful rescue by me refurbed by the mothership with the addition of an OP-PRO and will be a keeper. Play as many as you can and when you find one you like, buy it and keep it. As to cost, this little pile was liquidated to purchase a Martin Custom OM for around $5,000 so all money is relative :-)
