I'm looking for necks and bridge assemblies for the old Ovation Solidbodies. The ones on my Deacon are functional, but not perfect. I've got high hopes for this guitar, and I want the best parts available.

For necks: any of the appropriate scale lengths - basically all but Viper necks. Cosmetics are not that much of a concern, it just needs to be a good, functional neck that isn't broken, but I would like to stay away from black Preacher necks - too plain.

For bridges: I'm mostly looking for the second Ovation bridge, with the bolted-down saddles, and the Schaller bridges.

By second Ovation Bridges do you mean the Brass and Plastic with the screw down individual saddles or the one piece Schallers?

I take some pictures of some neck candidates.

I'm definitely looking for the Schallers, like the gold one on the left in your picture. As for the Ovation bridges, I'm looking for the one between the two Schallers in that picture - I've got one like the two on the top of that picture, but it's got some issues with it. I'm looking to try the other two out and see what I like best.

Sorry for being inarticulate, but you're far more knowledgeable on this stuff than I am.

I'm a regular Goo-roo :D

Those were old pics, the Gold is gone. Here is a link to the Album with the present stuff.

Woody\'s Clutter

Bridges:
First were the Nylon Saddled Breadwinners followed by Brass & Plastic molded, then B&P individual saddle, then they got fasteners underneath to secure them and lastly came the Chrome and the Gold One-piece Schallers.

Then Bill quit...

Is the neck on the bottom of this photo still available? It's not cracked or warped or anything, is it?

My Deacon's stock setup is an indivually adjustable brass saddled bridge, with the bolt going through the body to secure it. Will the Schaller one mount to that setup, or will I need new posts, etc.? If I can mount that, is the Schaller in this one available? If that won't work, then is the one on top of that photo available?

Thank you again for your assistance.

That one has a finish chip missing.

Here are the posts you have and the posts that go with the One piece bridge.

Alright, easy enough to replace then. The securing bolt shouldn't interfere either, I gather. So, how much would you need to part with those?

Well, for starters:
It doesn't involve three kangaroos and a keg of Foster's....
