Interesting. 1781 hand written on the label. Busy day at the MS?

It's a new model introduced this year at NAMM. Al has/had the show sample for sale. Similar to the old 1581, but this new model is a mid depth and has the new rounded edge binding. I always thought the mid deoth was better suited to the adamas guitars. This is a nice one.

It's not a 1581, its a mid bowl and was shown at Namm as a new albeit limited addition to the A range I believe.

They actually have 3 different 1781 auctions listed. One with a reserve, one BIN, and one with a higher BIN or make offer.

I always get annoyed by people who say "Hardshell Case Included"...
Of course it is included! Or it should be...
If it is Brand New, it came with a case! So it ain't like you are doing me any Favors, y'know?

[I actually got a nice BC Rich Bich 10 from Warpdrive, so I shouldn't pick on them]

What's wrong with the seller having the courtesy to tell you what's included in the deal?

Ah yes, intervention...

That and the discussion over OHSC meaning either Ovation Hard Shell Case, Original Hard Shell Case or Optional Hard Shell Case.

Now I remember seeing it hanging at NAMM. Thought it looked a lot like a 1581.

So it seems to have the rounded edges like the 1680, damn it's a shame it doesn't have an ebony fret board.

In fact I'm pretty glad it doesn't, I've a 97C, 99C and FD-14 in my 'in tray'.

This looks awfully tasty! I've always liked the Adamas guitar tone but can't afford many of them.

Dave, you said you feel the mid depth bodies are better suited for Adamas guitars...what's that comment based on?

Anyone ever try one of these models?

I played it at NAMM. Was too noisy to tell how it sounded.

I was referring to plugged in work for mid depth. I'd never own one for acoustic work.

DO these have the same neck profile as the 1681s? I mean a deeper profile to say the 06 and 07 Collectors?

I played that one at Cream City last week when I picked up my layaway 1124. Pretty nice!

I've played this exact guitar. I was in Cream City the other day to buy strings and I noticed some new Adamas guitars. It's the only store around (to the best of my knowledge) that sells Adamas... Beautiful guitar. They also had the one with the upside down tear drop sound hole, which is like my dream guitar except for the stupid nike sign...
