Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Wow... I've never seen that model before. At first I thought it was a typo on the name and was actually a Country Artist, until I went to the Ovation website and saw it there on the discontinued models page. Anyone have any background story on this model? |

| Great get, I had a -4 natural one of these many years ago... and while talking with one our more esteemed members(with his own flight simulator).. I was describing and explaining the artist model to him as well.... he had never heard of it either. he thought I had the numbers mixed up or it was a misprint on the label.
not a whole lot of them out there, but nice guitars.
Congratulations I'm sure it sounds great!

Location: Eaton, Indiana | I just bought this one from Steve. It has not arrived yet. This was one of two shallow bowls.
One was the Artist and the other the Glen Campbell. I owned two of the original Campbells back when they first came out. Great guitars. The 1621 does not have the neck binding or ornamentation of the Campbell. This one has a pickup which my Campbells did not.
Hopefully I will see this guitar very soon. So impatient...

Location: SoCal | An odd quirk about the early Glen Campbell Artists is that Campbell wanted a p/u in his guitar, but for several years after Ovation developed the p/u, more GC's were sold w/o them than w/ them.... |
