Location: Seymour, Tennessee | I'm in Iraq with the Tennessee National Guard and am without a guitar.
I wrote Ovation before I came over and they said the lack of humidity would kill my guitars.
Except for when I was in the "1st Gulf War" when I was in the Marine Corps, I used to haul my 88 with me but I was always on a Navy boat so a lack of humidity was not an issue.
What I'm looking for then, is a low-model Ovation that I can enjoy without being overly concerned if the desert eats it.
I'm scouring E-Bay but if anybody has a line on something reasonable, please let me know.
As an aside, I've seen some decent deals on e-bay but few would ship to an APO address without charging crazy shipping fees, I checked on shipping to this APO address for a guitar in a hard case at about $25.
I'm certainly not looking for charity here,I just want a guitar and can't see spending too much on one that is liable to get roasted. |
