The Custom Elite Contour came in 2 colors. I have both. After some serious deliberation, I've decided to keep just one, the black one I bought new at the 'Roadshow'

So, it pains me but... Here's my RTD Custom Elite up on the block.

 

This has to be one of the last Custom Elites from New Hartford with the late serial number. My black one is much earlier.

It's in like-brand-spankin'-new condition. It has maybe a couple pick scuffs, but NOTHING else. The case, all the candy, key, wrench, etc. is included. Here are the specs from Mother:

Body Type:Deep Contour

Top:AAA Grade Solid Spruce

Bracing:Scalloped XScale

Length:25 1/4"

Fretboard:Bound Deluxe Grade EbonyF

retboard Inlay:Elite Style Abalone

Bridge:Ebony

Rosette:Inlaid Exotic Hardwoods

Nutwidth:1 11/16"

Machines:Gold with Pearl Buttons


$850 (plus whatever it costs to get to you)

I hope so. I know Damon too well (but not as well as you, apparently) for those images to ever enter my mind. As nice and generous as he is, I doubt that he'd agree to rub my feet.
