Small correction: almost four days to go.

Wonder if our own Willa is in the fray...the current high bidder is a certain w***r.

She's been in just a bit of a "buying mode" lately. Go, Willa, Go!!!

I don't mean to point out the obvious... but seriously... in todays economy, why would someone want to pay for a guitar from a stranger on eBay when they can get the same (or similar) from a reputable dealer like Alpep and pay... especially when his prices in some cases... like this one.. it about $700 LESS !!!! I'm sure he'd appreciate the extra if you really want to overpay.

Miles, didn't you read Witko's thread on originals vs. reissues?

There's a place in this world for both.....

Al usually has (or can easily get) originals and re-issues... what's your point?

eBay's current policy of hidding the identities of bidders is random and not usually in anyway reflective of their real name for obvious reasons...

I thought so, but when I was in the hunt in several previous auctions, it showed me as a***m -- both on my system and on others'.

That happened several times, so I'm not sure precisely how the randomizing operates.

Anything is possible I guess...I can't see the purpose then in what eBay is doing...oh well, seems like less and less makes sense these days...lol

That there's a place in this world for both. Is that not clear?

$4,150.00
(and climbing)
I believe this is a record price for an original paddlehead production Adamas I...

there's a place in this world for both
Reminds me of the Dan Fogelberg song: "There's a place in the world for a gambler..." ;)
