Sorry to cut this one loose but I just picked up an OM-3 Maple and ... well you know ... you can't keep them all. Dead mint 10/10 condition, sings like an angel with looks to kill.
If you know anything about Collings you know that their small quantity hand built guitars are generally considered the best of the best. This OM-2 is no exception. Meticulous craftsmanship and the finest materials go into this guitar that will stand above any OM on the block. With all due respect to a wonderful guitar like the Takamine EF75, the Collings OM is just in another league. And this one has some special touches.
o Engleman spruce top
o Sunburst finish as only Collings can do
o East Indian rosewood back and sides
o Grained ivoroid binding
o Herringbone trim with matching backstrip
o Cross-cut grained ivoroid and wood nitrate strip rosette
o Pre-war scalloped bracing
o Honduran Mahogany Neck
o Brazilian rosewood peghead overlay
o Ebony fingerboard and bridge
o Bone nut 1-11/16 width
o Bone drop-in saddle
o Ebony bridge pins and end pin
o Nickel Waverly tuners
o Gieb style hardshell case
$3000. including 2-Day FedEx shipping to your USA address
Everything is in dead mint condition. I'm the second owner of this guitar. The first owner never took it out of his house and nor have I. Seriously, in 8 years this guitar has never seen the light of day. It's a players dream and a true trophy piece. As I said I would never even consider selling this guitar except for the fact that I just picked up an almost identical Collings OM in slightly different woods and trim.
Please email or PM me if you have any questions.
Thanks |

If someone can cut loose with the bread they will be very happy with this one. |
