Here's a link to my husband's 2007 Collectors Series BCS, now on Ebay. We've reserved the right to end the auction early so if anyone's interested and doesn't want to go thru Ebay, that's fine. My husband bought this guitar brand new in '07, so he's the original owner.

Very nice instrument. If I didn't already have one I'd be all over that. If I had the money, I'd buy it for my daughter returning from Iraq this weekend. (after 15 months)

Good luck on the sale.

GREAT to hear that your daughter is returning home this weekend! Please thank her for her service on my family's and my behalf, and have a wonderful, spectacular reunion!

I wish I could do that, but she is stationed in Wiesbatten(sp?) Germany with her husband and daughter (who were staying with us for over a year while she's been gone) It is going to be a sweeet reunion for them, as she has missed 15 months of her 18-month-old baby's life. We were able to send videos to her of all the firsts (i.e., crawling, walking, first words, etc.) I will pass on to her the thanks and best wishes once she arrives. Thanks!

This weekend the wife and I get to start this whole process over again as my son and daughter-in-law drop their three kids (3,3,and12-months) off with us, as they are both deploying also. My daughter-in-law is going to Bagdad, and my son to some secret training that he'd have to kill me if he told me about. So we are raising the children for at least the next 7 months.

OOOPS! ... Sorry about hijacking this thread! ...

Somebody needs to buy this guitar (;

bvince, a big THANK YOU to you and your family. It isn't just the service member overseas that sacrifices, but their entire families. You all have my sincere thanks and admiration.

Ditto, and I'm very happy to hear about your daughter's returning home. My step-son's in the USAF and was just deployed to Iraq. He's been deployed 4 other times over the last 4 years, but never to Iraq. Guess it had to happen sometime.

IT'S SOLD! Just sold on Ebay this morning. Buy It Now price of $1,000.00.

We did see another 2007 BCS sell on Ebay at the beginning of August for $810, but I'm happier about this sale!

You got a respectable price for a fantastic guitar. Congratulations! Both parties got a good deal in this sale.

Looks like maybe the bottom is behind us, in terms of used guitar prices. Good news for those of us who have to sell.

Luckily, I got mine while the market was in Dire Straits.
But those 07C's are impressive guitars.

[Now that I just typed that, I think that I will dig mine out! :D ]

I'm resisting selling mine, though the credit card took a major hit for the 2080. Some stuff definitely will have to go, but hopefully not the '07C.

Don't do it ... You WILL regret it. I believe the 2007BCS will prove to be one of those "special" models.

Thanks guys. I think we got a decent price for it, but like Vince said, it will probably be one of those "special" models. Its too bad it had to be sold, but unemployment money doesn't go too far!

The good news is that the buyer is someone who has been dreaming of and wanting to buy an '07 BCS for 2 years already. After 2 years of waiting, I'm glad he finally got his dream.

Hopefully that is so...

We did do better with the sale of the BCS than with the sale of his '87 Les Paul Studio. We had just put that on Ebay 1 day before Les Paul passed and we had something like 87 watchers at the end. It sold for $850, a good price compared to other Studios but not as good as the BCS!
