They have a higher grade top that a normal Legend, plus herringbone around the top binding, multi laminate headstock veneer (ebony maple and walnut) like the Adamas II, inlaid abalone logo in headstock, inlaid abalone snowflake fret markers, and the coveted carved bridge and truss rod cover. What it shares with the Legend is more important. This guitar has Ovation's A-bracing, only available in Legends. What that means is that it's one of the greatest sounding Ovations ever. Easily discernible by even the non-musical. Case in point, I brought one of my Legends to Phoenix with me while visiting a friend. He has a wonderful and extremely expensive Guild with the arched back and bling and blah blah blah, and we busted them out and played for some of the local gals. New strings on both, the girls kept asking Phil why my guitar sounded so much better than his. Ouch! Well, Phil's since sold that piece of lumber (And got a Takamine TF340SBG so he'll never hear that comment again). OK, back on topic. I talked at length to the original owner. I bought it from him when I was in Phoenix. He took VERY good care of it. Told me how he conditioned the fretboard with every string change and adjusted the neck (straight as an arrow) annually. There are no blemishes anywhere. There is one thing I neglected to mention though. The label inside the bowl fell off years ago and is long since lost. Electronics work flawlessly. This guitar has been played in a live setting (by me).

Now that it's gone I'm thinking I should have bought it anyway, but I truly believe everything works out the way it's supposed to, so I must not have been meant to have it. To whoever bought this beauty I say, cherish it, take good care of it, and enjoy it!
