you may have noticed that just recently I OT'd (OD'd geddit?) on a Fylde (all wood monster).
So to bring balance to the universe (and to settle sharkys stomach) I now need carbon and plastic, i.e. an Adamas 1881.
So please keep your eyes peeled, noses clean, ears open, mouth ready and fingers poised, especially on Craigs List, local pawn shops, flea markets, car boot sales, etc.
Needs to be in tip top condition and a steal ;)
Oh and would prefer an ebony neck :) (I know, I know!)
I'm well aware it's a tall order but if there's a group of people able to pull off this almost impossible ask/task then it's the mafia that is the OFC.
I know you can do it, don't fail me, sharky, yourself or the honor (look I even spelt it incorrectly for the Americans ;) ) of the OFC!

For an ebony neck Adamas I would pay much more but would settle for a walnut neck (boo) Adamas II. I had a black 1881 (was about £650) but let it go, bad mistake. |

Location: Colorado | Well, it gives us something to shoot for anyway. And I got my dream when I bought my 1881.
If my 1881 was up for grabs I wouldn't let it go for less than what I've got in it ($1000 or trade) to a "family" member. I really want a RED 1881 (or a custom w/ bright white top and silver sparkles and gray or silver stained flamed-maple outie epaulets).
Even in as good of shape as my 1881 is, in this crappy market it's not worth much more than that anyway.

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Not sure you'll have much luck finding an ebony neck on an 1881 short of a custom order. The standard issue looks to be walnut. |
