Just say no man! Not that anything I say will keep people away from this, but you know, an old 80's Carvin DC100 is a much better made guitar, and almost the same sort of specs down to the schaller bridge even, but with the M22 pups instead of those dimarzios. And available for under $500 on occasion. Oh wait, this is the Ovation forum. Sorry. Please disregard the last statement.

I was just reminiscing with it's new owner over coffee this week (Mr. Ovation). Very versatile tone wise, but it's the play and feel of it I like best. Neck through, and very "fast" feeling. They setup very nicely. In my opinion, one of the best values on an American made solidbody. All that said, I really liked the blended heel of the GP too, but it's hard to swallow paying that kinda $ for as Steve said, a "Korean Les Paul copy".
