My local music store has what the owner thinks is a Mag III. '78ish, looks like a solid block of Mahogany. It looks very clean, just some finish worn off the bridge (do they call that a bridge?). He's selling it for $600. Is that a price one could reasonably expect to pay for such a thing? OHSC too.

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I've been watching the Magnums on Ebay for the past year, and the Magnum IIIs that I have seen went somewhere between $350-450 depending on condition. If the one you are looking at is in prime condition and comes with the original case, it may be worth the $600 to someone that REALLY wanted it. Personally, I'd offer him 400. |

If it has tone and vol controls and a somewhat normal shape body, it's a III. If it has 3 EQ sliders (active as well) and a sorta normal shape bidy... it's IV. The I and II were mostly in sunburst and have a unique body shape. |
