Anybody got a cheap hard shell case for a Deep bowl O they wanna part with.
Don't care what it looks like on the outside, as long as it closes and the inside is decent.
I need it for my cheapie 77 CB I picked up the other day.
It is going to be a late birthday present for my Son and a try-out instrument to see if he really is going to stick with it.
I'll get a better case somewhere down the road, it's definitely not a priority, the thing can stand up in a corner if I can't find one cheap enough.
Just figured I go fishing.

I have a shallow bowl case I need to give away, but I got rid of the deep case the 83 collector's was in.

Dang, still no luck, everybody seems to want a ton for shipping!
At least I'm not in a hurry.

"everybody seems to want a ton for shipping!"

Unfortunately it costs as much to ship a case full as empty.

So... Look for a Beat up Deep Bowl something on Ebay that comes with a case.

I would give you one of my cases, but you'd have to come and pick it up. :)

I got one the same day I visited Capo Guy.
Not in too bad a shape and I got it for $60.

I mainly needed the case to ship the 68 DB back to MS for some work when I get back from Iraq in March. I don't want to have it's original case messed up in transit.
It's secondary purpose was for my Boy's $75 beater 77' CB that I gave him yesterday.

Careful Meuti, I'm resourceful, a former Marine, and a former Law Enforcement Officer, you might regret saying something like that, you might get a knock on your door in the middle of the night! HA HA HA
I actually flew into Germany on my way home for leave, I'm drawing a blank on the name of the Airport but it isn't far from Berlin.
I'd always wanted to see Germany (my Dad's people are from there)but it was dark when we flew in. Hopefully we will go back through there on the way back and it will be daytime so I can see it.

Many thanks, as long as one of the beers is for me!
Leipzig (spelling) was the airport we came through.
I go back to Iraq tomorrow and don't know if we are going back through there or through Shannon, Ireland as we did on the way over.
I we do come through Germany, I hope it's light out!
Maybe one of these days I'll get to visit Germany properly, I've always wanted to see it.
I've been all over the Mediteranean, but never there.

Michael, I hope the time flies and you're home again before you know it. Stay safe, and keep in mind that the hearts of your OFC buddies are with you.

Just landed in Leipzig, Germany for an hour or so then back to the sand pit.
Two weeks at home flew by.
Thanks for the kind words Alison.
Jack, I'll give you a yell when I get back to Iraq.
