If they sound great it doesn't matter. When ordering a guitar I have gone both ways. My Borges is an OM-18 style with some nice wood purfling but that's pretty much it. On my Collings OM, I added a bit of bling with a beautiful multi-colored rose on the headstock. It blends in so well that most don't even realize it is there. Interesting in that I just realized that on the last 2 guitars I have ordered (above) NEITHER of them have fret markers but BOTH are short scale. | ||
