And, to be honest, the one you're selling is beautiful...
My apologies as well, Jim. That's really a gorgeous guitar and I'm sure someone's going to be very happy with it.

Hey, no apologies necessary. I'm used to being the whipping boy around here. ;) Like the others, if it sells, great. If not, I've still got a guitar I like. Just a little too blingy for me. I should have known that going in, but I'm a sucker for a pretty guitar.

I've never been affected that way by bling.

I never let the bling affect me one way or the other when acquiring a guitar. If they sound great it doesn't matter.

When ordering a guitar I have gone both ways. My Borges is an OM-18 style with some nice wood purfling but that's pretty much it.

On my Collings OM, I added a bit of bling with a beautiful multi-colored rose on the headstock. It blends in so well that most don't even realize it is there.

Interesting in that I just realized that on the last 2 guitars I have ordered (above) NEITHER of them have fret markers but BOTH are short scale.

Bobbo, I don't know if anybody took pictures of the Cantata last weekend or not: I can ask...I'll play it again when Violetta can take some pic's...do you want it with or without the robe? (lol)

On a serious note, that is one guitar that I regret selling.

Sorry, no wardrobe changes during the service: ...suit or robe...it's one or the other

and it won't be tomorrow: we have wind chills to -22 and snow...services are canceled...

For me, Harry Nilsson turned the robe into an iconic rock artist look. I'd personally go with that look but it sounds like your church is more formal. So probably suit.

Actually the Robe is much more formal...and hot! But next weekend, I'll see what I can do...

I also play the 1688's quite a bit...just depends on the song...
