Aaron Tippon was here in Mosul back in November (I was working didn't get to go see the concert) and he had a USA flag Ovation (saw it on the press releases) it didn't look like a CL version though, I don't recall spotting any bling on it. HMM, I wonder if I could find me one with a Marine Corps flag on it......HA HA HA

I expect to live about as long as a Red-Shirt on a Star Trek episode so here's to hope and change! I'll either need consoling or for someone to buy some of my junk!

Over 1500 with a day and a half to go. I remember bidding on one a while ago and stopped at 650.00. I think it went for 7 something. It had the "Custom Legend style" neck too. I think they made both this one and a "standard" style.

The 1779-USA was actually a production model there for a while, not sure how may they sold but I doubt it was a lot. So I sorta figured this one would fetch a couple of grand. That seller has to be doing cartwheels my now. Over 1500 with a day and a half to go. I think they made both this one and a "standard" style. There was a limited edition "Flag" guitar -- 75 units, numbered on the neck -- and those were based on the 1777. Same cool top paint, but none of the bling or higher grade wood on this model. So no abalone purfling, or CL style neck or fretboard. Plus this one has the inlaid CL style rosette. And the Optima with the XLR output. I think these are pretty cool. Wish I was in the market right now.
