Had one, left-handed. Never got the hang of it, then it was stolen. Tragic story, really.

I just got mine back from Mother. After the spa treatment, "pristine" seems like an understatement. Sorry, but I'll never sell it…

I lucked out and snagged a Cinnamon Honey burst. I think it was a limited run in the first year they made 'em. I'd send a picture but its already boxed up for the big move and i'm not sure where it is in this mess. And there is no way i could sell it anyway, how can you put a price on something like that?

Is it true that they came with string tubes pre-installed?

You DO know that Roy Orbison was NOT blind, right?

NOT blind, yes, but couldn't see well at all, and if you've ever played on stage with dark sunglasses, you understand why he developed that standing stock-still performance.
He's one of my heroes...I mean no disrespect.

Nor did I mean any disrespect towards you, but many people incorrectly assumed he was blind because of the ever-present dark shades…

Now, let's get back to finding one of those elusive models for gulfcoast…

Did they ever make an acoustic-only version? I've never seen one…

Rescued one from a pawnshop and by the time I bought all the parts to bring it back to life I had spent more than buying a new one. Still my favorite and will be passed on to my grandchildren

I'll keep my eyes peeled for another for gulfcoast.

Here's pictures of mine in all it's resurrected glory

You know ... I WAS going to suggest having some of these reproduced as a new special OFC model. That is IF enough of us can afford to purchase them. Any ideas of which color we should use.

I heard there is a new polyurethane color on the market called "Casper", I think that would work perfectly as it thins quite readily with "spirits".

If you play "case lotto" in AJ's garage you'll find 3 or 4. See if you can guess which cases they're in. You might be surprised at the answer.
