Location: Bluffton, SC | Hopefully, Steve. There was an annual Spring Factory Tour through last year but this year, with the Fender buyout, we're still waiting to hear if it's going to happen or not. |

Location: NJ | It is with much regret that I have to report there will not be an open house this fall.
I contacted Rick Hall and recieved the following.
The Guild move has been a monumental project for the people in New Hartford this year. Not only are they building a brand new production line for Guild, they are also rearranging pretty much the whole facility to accommodate three entirely different brands. Seeing the progress of this over this past several months I can honestly say, when it's all done, the New Hartford factory will be a showcase for high-end USA made guitar building.
That said, the project will not be completed for at least a few months. Unfortunately, our plan to hold the Ovation Open House this fall will again need to be postponed. We apologize to all that planned to make the journey this year and hope to see everyone at the next event sometime after the new year.
In the meantime, please be extra nice to Al. It's not easy being the king of the weird, obscure, lonely, unloved, and of course Vintage guitars!

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | The updates to the factory line will make the next tour all the more interesting. The question is what do we bring, our Ovations or our Guilds? I hope they don't mess with the Hamer attic. |

I would still like to have the tour in the fall when the leaves are turning. My wife would be very happy to see all the colors and when she is happy, ole Stevie is happy!!!! |

| Very good news to hear of the new USA facility! Very exciting to know this big investment is being made in Conneticut for these great guitars to all be built right here. Congrats to the employee's!
So who's hosting a Northeast Gig in the fall? I wish I could do it, it is just not logistically very practicable for me to have it here. |

It's hard enough to pull off two man-cations a year without having them possibly just weeks apart.
Being to close to the Amelia event might effect the numbers for the factory gathering. And we always want to put up good numbers for that.
Then again, isn't fall a busy time at the factory for getting holiday product out the door?
Oh well.. the world does not revolve around my wants and needs. More the pity. |
