Adamas 1685-5 s/n 4442 1988 Twelve string black graphite top $1,200

Absolutely the best sounding 12 string on the planet!

This guitar will be on ebay later today or you can still buy it for the price listed.

You know, the guitar is in really good shape - the picture of the fretboard makes it look a lot worse than it really is. I'm going to restring it and treat the fretboard with Stewmac fretboard oil and it will look like new. I'll replace the photo then.

So anybody - what's the right price for this guitar?? I'm listing it for what I paid for it two years ago on ebay. (Found a steal on a Taylor 12 string, that while beautiful to look at and play, the Adamas sounds much more like a 12 string should sound, and that's tuned down a half step. )

If the Adamas sounds better than the Taylor, why aren't you selling the Taylor???

Playability - nothing plays like a Taylor... sorry, but everything is a tradeoff. Hank

I doubt that comment will win over too many people here. The 2 or 3 Taylor 12s I've tried play like shit, but that's my own personal experience.

This wonderful guitar is still available... although the case is a little dusty now!
