If the skin problem is localized to bare skin on the inside of your right arm where it crosses over the guitar and only occurs after playing the Adamas... how could it be bites? Do you store the Adamas in the new TKL case? The new synthetic fuzzy interior sheds a little. Loose inert fibers can still cause contact dermatitis. The rough bowl back could be transferring loose fibers to your shirt. The inside of your forearm could be picking up the fibers directly from the guitar or off your shirt later on. I'd vacuum the interior of the case very well, blow out the inside of the bowl, vacuum and wipe down the exterior of the guitar, put on a clean shirt, and play your Adamas... good luck and call me in the morning.

I had a Hamer Californian`s Finish bubble up because of the Case adhesive not being fully dry... Open the case and let it air out... Oh By the way i still dont think that Sambora Doubleneck is 10-15 years old??? When was Slippery when wet??

If this is a brand spanking new guitar then the solvents that make the plastic liquid so that it will flow into the mold may be causing some irritation. As molded plastic ages it 'outgasses' the solvents. This what gives a car that 'new car' smell. You are smelling the outgassing of the plastics and vinyls that make up the inside of the car. Eventually that 'new car' smell goes away as the solvents dissipate. Unfortunately, some plastics eventually become brittle. Some plastics, however, retain their integrity long after that 'new car' smell goes away. The ovation guitars I've seen appear to have a cross-linked polyethylene bowl. I could be wrong. If it is xlpe, then I'd say it will last a long long time. I used to buy fuel tanks made out of this stuff and diesel fuel doesn't make a dent in it... it makes it swell a bit, but nothing to be alarmed about. Some people have sensitive skin and this little bit of vaporized solvent irritates them. My suggestion to you is to wear a long sleeved shirt or drape a wash cloth under your arm when playing. You might even cut the sleeve off an old long sleeved shirt to cover your arm when playing too. Eventually the outgassing will subside and not be a bother to you any more. Leaving it out of the case for a few months will accelerate the outgassing. Just make sure it's in a safe place, preferably hanging on the wall. While sunshine can accelerate the outgassing, I wouldn't recommend it with a guitar. Good luck!
