I've already got the 18 version of that guitar (D18VS). It's a slope shoulder 18 body 12-fret wideneck slothead. It is an incredible tone monster. B/S are mahogany. The rosewood 28 version must be absolutely amazing. Someday.

Who you callin' a man ... errr, wait that's not exactly how I meant that. Let me start over.

A D sized guitar is not the most comfortable thing in the world to hold and play (at least for me). It's a BIG box. BUT, with that big 'ol box can sometimes come one hell of a great sound.
