They are going up in price. I don't think he will get his bin price. It has some scruff marks on the crome so it isn't as mint as he says.
viper that\'s too expensive

Several nice Vipers are crawling out of the woodwork. I had a bid on the one below. Ealier today, the gsr1860 clown, current high bidder, bid it up over $1000, then retracted his bid. I know he was probing for the reserve price, which -- along with associated retraction -- is an Ebay no-no. If I read the bid list right, I think the reserve actually is $1000 (guy had bid $2000). Wow.

I have several Vipers available for sale in my OFC gallery that I modestly feel are nicer than either of the ones currently on eBay.

The guy selling the blond viper said he compaired the sound of his viper to his 1949 Fender No-caster  .....
The No-caster was only around for a short transitional period in early '51 until Leo Fender dubbed it the Telecaster!

I thought the 1949 was off.

Your wood finished Viper and Viper III are beautiful. I've been messing about for a nice Viper at a lower price point. And, will be selling my own well-used Viper soon.

From the EbayEdzep dictionary: Messing About -- Bidding within a restricted range, with little hope of prevailing. I really should stop.
