Crimson,
An Ovation sister and I are working on seeing if our work schedules will permit this to happen; I'll know about mine tomorrow. If your family doesn't come, and if your missus is o.k. with it, I'm sure Cheryl wouldn't mind carpooling. (But if we do end up driving ourselves, we're o.k. with that, too.)

Bluesy, thanks for the info; we'll keep that in mind.

Just thinking about attempting this is so outside the box for me; I hope it does happen!

Karen - I'll keep in touch as we get closer. However you get there and wherever you stay - you will have a blast!

Karen,

That is also true and exciting for me! I could not have even considered such a venture two years ago. So I'm pullin' for all those that have the slimmest chance of attending.

Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the 'family' that can make it!!!

With Beal & Debanjo there, they'll pick up pretty much anything.

Here's a couple of my suggestions:

Grayson Capps - Poison, Uncle Ed Lee
Eagles - Tequila Sunrise with Debanjo on slide
Any 12-bar blues jamming, esp. with Cliff on vocals, could do a medley.
Traveling Wilburys always sounds good with multiple guitars.

Ed Lee is pretty much just blues in G. Is Poison a 2 chord song?

Just talked to Jersey Girl #2--she's in! Got the days off, too...look out, OFC menfolk, here we come! (We are only bringing two guitars, though--Jewel and Zelda.)

all we need is Witco and Damon, and we'll have pretty much the 4 corners covered.

Poison is E and B7.
Glad some women are coming, didn't want mine to be the only one.
