I know I've seen a Celebrity in this color, but I didn't know they used this on the USA models. Also, the ad page says "This is custom painted and signed by the artist!" That doesn't sound like something from the factory, does it?

I may consider it, if a back rub deal can be worked into the tasting...while it sleeps in the case.

(latched of course)

My impression is of a silkscreened factory paintjob, with the artist's signature as part of the silkscreen. "Signed" in the same sense that a Rembrandt print is signed. Yes, no, Jeff?

These were custom paint jobs by the factory and the artists name was "hidden" in the print.

Too bad this one has some cracks and issues. At $399 it would be a steal.

I had the opportunity to buy one of these for about 500 bucks a few years ago and I have been kicking myself in the ass ever since it was NOS with all the hang tags and case candy

Al,
I assume "having the opportunity" means you didn't take the opportunity...
