Hello All

I am new to the board. Purchased my first new guitar after 25 years of raising children, (working 60 hours a week), last year. Started actually learning to play as I didn't when I was a teen. Last years purchase was an electric shecter S-1 elite. Todays purchase is a 1778T with OP-Pro. Black, textured finish. Really like this guitar. Have yet to plug it in, just playing around unplugged sounds good to me. Also just had my second guitar lesson. Going well. I hope one day to have grandchildren ask me to teach them how. It will all be worth it.

Any way this is my introduction. Any input on the particular guitar welcome.

Cheers
Houston

Hi Houston,
Welcome. This is a great group of people here. They will help you a lot I am sure. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I don't know much about your new baby, but I am sure you will get lots of feedback.

Again Welcome,

Some folks round here might say that the Elite T is the best value to dollar O (and then some) you can buy.

I'm inclined to agree.

you did well.

Welcome Houston,
I have a 1778 T and think it is great! Sounds like yours is a later model than mine as mine has the OP 30 preamp. They sound really good plugged in. The neck is really good also.
I don't use the controls on the preamp very much, they are a little sensitive for me. Just set them to neutral positions and adjust on the amp.
If you want to make it real stealthy looking, put a set of Black Diamond Black strings on it.
Enjoy

Welcome.

If you like the sound unplugged, YOU WILL LIKE the sound plugged in.

Remember, the only dumb questions are those that go unasked. :)

Hi Houston,
Great guitar choice. I wished onboard tuners were around when I first started playing. Enjoy!
