Kaki has been booked to appear at the Metronome Music Festival (Umbria, Italy). She will perform at the Theatre Saint Fedele in Montone, Italy, on May 7. Montone itself is very picturesque:

Also see:

Other festival performers are listed at:

http://www.metronomefestival.com/programma.html

As usual, she'll be playing her Adamas II 1581-5 prototype and her Gretsch lap steel.

Best regards to all--

If you feel that she should have an escort, I'd like to volunteer my services. ;)

Load the shotgun Dave!

That is a beautiful location. What a thrill to tour places like that.

A child never knows, when it enters this world, who its parents will be. Lucky, then, is the child who is met by parents who will nurture her and treasure her gifts. And lucky are the parents who have her.
My admiration goes out to all of you.
Sincerely,
Richard Hart

We were in that area last Spring with our daughters as a graduation present for both of them. Beautiful country and great memories. I wish somebody would have paid our way over. Nothing like basking in your child's success. It's better than your own success, because it is your own success.

Thanks for the kind words guys, but it's her out on those stages, not me! There is definitely some interest in Italy about her. This is the March edition of an Italian guitar mag:

I can see how she is going to have to suffer through this gig! No Holiday Inn, no McD's. It's a tragedy.

Actually, with two wives (one is the EX model), I have all the wimmin troubles I care to deal with. I was thinking more along the lines of it was a pretty place to vacation. ;)
