It use to be in the topic "OFC CD- Where To Now" which seems to have mysteriously disappeared.
Whoever posted the offer, could you repost your info? I would like to look at some of work and see how they might fit in my wonderful music that contains no lyrical content worth listening to. |

Yeah, I was concerned that I may have overstepped some line so never pursued the idea.
But I have a couple file boxes full of finished and unfinished lyric ideas. I also share/teach what I've learned about songwriting over the years with the less studied (both of them!)
If you want to fit music to existing lyrics, let me know the/a style you prefer to work in. Or... you can contact me direct via fillhixx@yahoo.ca |

Currently have a couple of nice ballads and 3-4 nice rockers that need lyrics.
When my brother-in-law used to be the singer in our band, I would contribute ideas or have a theme and he would put together the lyrics...so I never worried about them....or he would take my lyrics and make them decent.
He did the same as you.....carried a notebook around with him and was always jotting down ideas and then composing lyrics or poems. Then when I would play him a new tune, he would hear it in his head and dig around and pull out the lyrics/poem that the music pointed him towards.
I would love to see what you might have to offer in these areas. My email is stephent28@yahoo.com or I can get you my fax number or mailing address.
I appreciate the offer. This might be fun. |

I might have a little trouble writing around heavy metal wish fulfillment themes. What with no hair and sensitive ears.... but what the heck, I'm game for anything.
I write commercials all day, so it's not like I can realisticly look down on anything! |
