Location: New York | Does anyone know about the Crate CA60D acoustic amp. I have seen good write ups about it but just wondered if anyone had any hands on experiance with it. Thanks, Rich |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Played several Crate acoustic amps at GC. They sounded fine, but it's always hard to tell because the GC is so noisy, even in the acoustic room. |

I have the CA60, absolutely no complaints. It has great sound and lots of nice features without being difficult to operate. I paid $400 new for it. It is a perfect match for the roundbacks ;)

Location: Chicago | I have the smaller model, a new Crate 30D. The upside is it's very portable, solid and nice to look at. The basic sound is a fine match for my Legends. The downside are the effects. I don't like the delay or verb very much: a bit thin and mechanical/tinny sounding. I now combine the ZOOM A2.1u pedal with it. Now, THAT is a beautiful thing. |
