First, the wood top was beautiful with wonderful grain and beautiful silk running thru it. I tuned it up and was amazed by the full sound of it. I ended up jamming with a guy who was playing a beautiful Gibson and quite honestly, I preferred the sound of the GC. Just amazing, and at $1800, I don't think it's over priced at all. I also played an 06 Collectors. Much better looking in person than in pictures and a very good sound. It's a better guitar than we've given it credit for. But I liked the GC better. Now the bad Guitar Center news. They no longer carry Elixir strings. For those of us who play them, we're going to have to stock up on them when we can or buy them on line. Some sort of dispute that the Center is having with Elixir. Damn. But that 1627, I like that guitar! After aquiring 3 guitars since last August, how can I justify this one? Answer, I can't. Damn.

That's the problem with having the 30th Adamas ann. and the 40th ann. of Ovation being so close together. ....too many Ltd edition guitars in a short space of time. BTW, does anyone know how long the GC's are avaliable for ?

They did not use it in the in Constitution/Bill of Rights. Instead, they chose 'Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Property"... This, however, could still be used to make Moody's case... ...We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Very Buddhist in it's outlook, funny the country is highjacked by Christians ;)

It's great to know Ovation is dedicated to making great quality limiteds to augment the production models. Someday in my 'pursuit' I hope to afford one of these fine guitars.
