He's the owner of 2 very nice Adamas and the 3rd (a #47) should be in France pretty soon... I took a photo of this meeting. It's not common for us in France to have so much Adamas on the same photo. I'm glad to share it with you. Pascal has noticed a detail on my "Adamas II Wide Neck" that I never noticed before. There's only 21 frets on the neck!!! Is it usual on this model?? I thought that Adamas I or II were all built with 22 or 24 frets??? J :) ![]()

The distance between the 14th fret and the end of the fretboard is not the same on my 2 Adamas II. 12.5 cm (4.92 inches) vs 11.8 cm (4.64 inches)!!! J :)

It turns out that in France walnut is considered an endangered species (along with the 40 hour work week). Any guitar entering France has a restriction on how much walnut can be used on its fretboard. This measurment is done in square centimeters, so in order to meet the restrictions the fretboard had to be made a little shorted to make up for the fact that it is a little wider. Dave

Pretty soon the Germans will prohibit any employer from firing anyone for any reason, but all the German students will protest because they have too much time, because no one will hire them. The collapse of the European economy is imminent.
