Best is to thread the ball end through the tuner, then tie off the end at the bridge as you would a nylon. Works every time, no slippage.

Hi

Found this a few months ago; same system; I have been using it in the tropics and find it holds tune well; normal changes overnight with humidity heat and now cooler nights require a re-tune but playing doesn't effect them. But it's a quick and neat/elegant method.

Have I been stringing my guitars wrong for 25 years? OY! My strings don't loop through the hole more than once, they don't tie in any knots, and I don't use voodoo black magic, but they never 'slip' out of tune. The only tuning issues are when they are new and still stretching. No one will get any magical sound enhancement if the string has 2 loops insead of three.

Fillhixx, where did you find such small roadies? I could use a couple of those guys around the house to clean under the furniture.

I should be at the tour:( It looks like everyone is having a great time, what with all the nice guitars, and a couple of cold brews. What could be better? Alas, I am stuck here at work. Maybe next year. Could someone ID some of the people in the pix? I read your cra..uh..insightful thoughs here, it would be interesting to put a face with a screen name.

The easiest way is to go to the OFC galleries (under member access) and look under the individual's name. Usually, they will have a picture of themselves somewhere in there.

Ireland, some days they're more trouble than their worth. But our shoes are always shiney!
