Spotted in the orchestra are two guitars, a nylon classical played in the first half (I never heard it), and an Ovation 12 played unplugged but mic'd in the second half (which is clearly heard in the last movement with the harp). Adjacent to the guitar player was a cellist playing an instrument worth six figures. Quality instruments attract.

In this piece, every voice part (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) splits three ways. Second tenor notes generally go no higher than an A and, very occasionally, a B flat. First tenors pride themselves in easily hitting C and maybe a note or two above without jumping to falsetto. Most second tenors can also easily sing the baritone lines.
