I cannot find CYA thinner for the glue repair we discussed in another thread...is this remover a product that will work?

http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Glues,_adhesives/Stewart-MacDonald_Supe...

And I can safely put this directly on my finished soundboard without worry of eating the finish?

will do Cliff... checked out Menards/Home Depot and Fleet Farm Supply. Next time I'm in St. Cloud I'll try a hobby shop.

Usually a hobby/craft shop or internet that sells the CyA will have the bottle to thin/remove. StewMac just seems to have good quality material.

I have sent the link to Kim for his opinion.

I have #20 CyA from StewMac...going to put in an order for the remover and will try it on a "project" CA that I have. If you aren't in a hurry, you can wait to see what happens. My best guess is that it would work great.

From my feedback, looks like the remover will work fine.

For the timid, I have ordered some and will let you know.

Thanks Tony...let me know. I have a new repair to make that I can order both the CYA and remover from StewMac... another project is to remove the access superglue that is scarring the face of my Pacemaker. I received it damaged about a year ago, and stabilized the considerable cracks with superglue brand that you would buy over the counter. It woked well, but it was too thick, and thus I made a mountain out of a valley. I am hoping to tame this down a bit with the thinner/remover.

Again, let me know your results... and thanks again for sharing your knowledge in this area.
