Once again Kim Keller came up with a guitar for us to commit WHO on. Moody was this years "Pete Townshend" and did the evil deed. My one gripe is that he did not notify a camera man of his plan so dispite the fact that there were camcorders all over the place, the event itself is lost to history. For the second time I was asked to act a museum curator for the fractured fretboard. Now my wife wonders if we are going to have a second wrecked guitar on display. Nope...a few pictures of the leftovers and off to the trash it goes. That being said....BrianT and I were on our way home through upstate New York. Our route take us over the bridge at Niagra Falls so we figured we would stop there and give our legs a streach. Back up a bit...I have been shooting some odds and ends video clips for Waskel to use in the Tour DVD. Just some little background stuff that he might be able to fit in. Suddenly the image of the MOB going over Niagra Falls became something that I really wanted to see. Then reality and logic set in. There are warnings all over the place about how people who throw things in the river will be prosecuted. I figured it was not a good idea to toss a bundle about the size of a wrapped up baby into the river at one of the tourist capitals of the world. However I did come up with a compromise and decided that I might just get away with thowing in just the fantasic bright blue top and get away with it. BrianT operated the camera while I walked 50 yards up stream to do the deed. As innocently as I could, I tossed the top in the river and ran back up to Brian. I got back just in time to see one of two halves of the top go over the brink and plunge to the rocks below. Mission accomplished.

Fortunately no one seemed to notice. My best guess is that pieces of the MOB will wash up on beach somewhere, the floatsam and jetsam of a guitar gone badly wrong. Maybe some beach-comber will find it and surmize that a poor boater-guitar player met his end out on the cold cruel lake. ![]() ![]()

It escapes me what model they are at the time. It was nice meeting you and your Wife. Never did figure out your occupation. Is there a uniform involved?
