I, personally, agree with what you're sayin' about the shipping - I personally just look at it that way when I'm bidding (as long as PayPal is accepted - that way the buyer is protected). But... there are many people that love to bellyache about S&H gouging - it's a constant thing on the eBay forums. And like Waskel said, he's one of them that would blow past the auction. I just know that some people look at that S&H number and respond negatively to it instead of just factoring it in to the overall price. He's now up to about $400 on that thing with 3 bidders bringing the number that high. That doesn't meet his reserve yet - so it will be interesting if the number goes as high as he was hoping. I'm sure (if there was any in the first place) he lost some interest from possible buyers here because his sucky attitude. But what do I know... I'm just the naive fool..... :)

I was just using the tools I had easily available to me here to try to help you. That's all. :) Glad to see you're sticking around.. this is a great group. (How do **you** look in coconuts?) So are you leaving guitarland entirely? Was the one you're selling your only guitar or do you still have others to play?

As far as Pot_Stirrer's comments being 'bitter sarcasm'... well, try to understand the parental pain behind it. I know I do. I've lived it as well. If we didn't love our grown children unconditionally, it wouldn't hurt so freakin' much.
