Hi I'm new to this site. I have owned & played an Ovation Folklore which I bought in 1984. This has been a great guitar and has seen service in bands & solo sets with no problems apart from having it go through its "20 year service". However, the volume/tone control knob has finally perished and I cannotind a replacement. Currently using small pliers to make adjustments, which wont do the shaft much good. Anyone out there who can help.
I also make the odd banjo or two, mainly for myself but will make to order.
I live in the UK with my wife,Maggie, who is also a musician.
Would loke to hear from you

I suggest you start by getting in touch with Paul Templeman, who I believe is an Ovation rep or dealer in the UK. Paul also has very extensive experience with these guitars. You can start a new thread asking for him, or do a search.

You can also try contacting Ovation customer service via their website, as they should have the part you need.

BTW, welcome aboard! There are a number of Brits here that add their own flavor to the mix.
