I have read the recent discussio about this and;

I have a 1778T OFT and would like to have an XLR output.

How do I go about getting a board to plug into the available socket on the Op Pro

What Voltage is the phantom power meant to be; it seems to vary from AMP to AMP and gizmo to gizmo

Being in Australia ringing Ovation is a little more difficult, but I could do it if required.

Who should I ring and on what number and what times are best.

Customer service, while great, are often hard to reach via phone. Your best bet would be to email them.

kkeller-kmc@kaman.com

is for Kim Keller.

(800) 552-4681 ext 125 for Kim Keller. For the best time I would say 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM eastern Daylight savings Time. Probably middle of the night for you.

I believe most phantom power units have a 48 volt output. I think. :confused:

Phantom power supplies can vary from 9 to 52 volts. Devices designed to operate on phantom can generally tolerate any voltage between those extremes, though 48 is the norm.

TripleG, I have called CS about a dozen times over the last year and probably only got a live person once....the other times went into their voice mail.

Usually, I would get a call back within a couple hours but I don't think that would really be an option for Hobie.
