Location: Carle Place, NY | I went to the ZPZ concert at the Beacon Theater in NYC last night and was totally blown away. For those who are unfamiliar with this tour, Dweezil Zappa is playing with a great band performing authentic FZ live music. At times I thought Dweezil's solos were better than Frank's. The highlight of the show was an incredibly tight Peaches En Regalia with Dweezil and Steve Vai playing in unison on a note for note rendition of the studio cut.
This is a very limited tour with only 11 US shows. Here\'s the tour schedule. The tour ends on June 24. If you've ever seen FZ live and want to experience that again, do whatever you need to do to see this show. It's worth it! |
