Location: Peoria, Illinois | I played one of these 12 string Ovations briefly at a Guitar Center, but did not really have too much time to check it out. It sounded good. Is this a regular production model, or a limited run for some dealers? Anyone have one or care to comment on it for me? |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | I've played two at different Guitar Centers. Looks like a production model to me!!!! I believe Elderly has one, or is getting one. It would be logical to see the factory gradually moving all U.S.-made models to LX, it cuts the complexity, which improves quality (and saves on cost, too).

Location: Warren,Pa. | I'm currently playing a 6756 LX 12 string. What's the difference?
I understand the names of the different models but the #'s baffle me sometimes. John <>{ |

It does appear that more and more models are being given the LX upgrade.
The 6756LX is the Legend model... |

The 12 string is my main guitar, and the BIG thing I find different is how LIGHT the LX model is compared to the K Bar model.
I sold my '02 CL 12 to Lisa. That's her only guitar. The first time she played this LX she exclaimed "This thing is SO LIGHT!"
I'm not sure how I feel about the shape of the neck compared to the old neck...to me it's a toss-up.
Of course the OpPro can't be beat, though the XLR version improves things dramatically.
My opinions (if my opinion counts for anything). John <>{ |
