Location: meriden, CT | I have one. Supposedly someone famous played it and gave it to my grandpa (who sang in the five satins) who gave it to my dad, who gave it to me. My question is, how much would this be worth? I hear it might be worth a pretty penny, but the Ovation website says they don't evaluate guitars. Any info? |

As to the Breadwinner, maybe someone will post that knows; or a search of the archives will give you more information.
Wonderful guitar, prior use means wear, not necessarily higher value.
Best to post some pictures and an accurate description of damage, wear & tear.

While they are admired by the Ovation Fans they are basically unappreciated by the rest of the world. $1000 to $1800 on ebay depending on originality and condition. Not fully appreciated in the guitar world...
...yet!
If you hang on to it another 10 years you will see something promising, but not quite yet. |

Location: meriden, CT | I was told it was a custom built 12 string breadwinner. I don't have a digital camera, but I'm going to borrow one soon, so I'll post pictures of it. There's only a couple dents and scratches, nothing major. The only problem is the bridge cover pops up in the front. Other than that, it's in perfect condition. |
