I found out last night that Grant McLennan of the Australian band The Go-Betweens died in his sleep on May 6th. He was 48 years old.

I was turned on to The Go-Betweens in the 80's and they've always been one of my favorites. Never a big name in the states, thier LP "16 Lovers Lane" was probably the biggest splash stateside.

If you've never heard any of their music, give it a listen, they had reformed in 2000 and had a great release last year: "Oceans Apart".
Fine songwriting and songcrafting.

I was surfing for some lyrics and tabs and that's how I found out about his passing.

Bummer.
