| Hey,
it's been a long while since i've been on the board!
Can any body send me a Thunderhead wiring schematic?
I'm finally sorting it out after buying it two years ago!
All original stuff but a schematic would speed things up a whole lot and save me a lot of money.
An how much does anyone think a pefect conditon thunderhead 'A354' serial no. go for. I found one and i'm thinking of gettin it to add to the collection. |

Location: Scotland | There's nothing unusual about the T-head wiring apart from 2 things. 1) The 3-way toggle is centre off. One way is both pickups on in-phase the other is both on out-of-phase. 2) The controls are master vol, neck tone, bridge tone. The 4th knob is a pickup blend control which works in conjuction with the phase orientation of the pickups. When this knob is centred both pickups are on equally. Either extreme produces neck only or bridge only. Everywhere else is a continually variable blend of both.
It's fairly basic guitar electronics, any competent tech should be able to figure it out from that description without a schematic. |
